The Seed Ship's Long Sleep

A 14-second space opera anime short, 16:9: a generation seed ship drifting through a violet nebula, its crew asleep, its garden still growing. The hook: everyone sleeps — but the tomatoes still ripen in starlight.
0-4s: A colossal seed ship drifts through a violet nebula — ring habitats rotating slowly, lights mostly dark, the long spine of the vessel trailing frost. The camera holds a wide nebula-drift establishing shot as the ship crosses a filament of glowing gas, its silhouette edged in purple.
4-8s: Inside: the pod bay, frosted sleep pods in long rows, breath fogging the glass of a thousand sleepers. The camera tracks slowly down the aisle, faces peaceful behind the frost. Then a cut to warmth — the garden dome, glowing against the dark ship: tomato vines heavy with fruit ripening in starlight, bees drifting in zero-G between the blossoms, mist in the grow-lights.
8-11s: A small gardener robot tends the rows — pruning, watering, its treads silent on the deck. It pauses at the dome's viewport, watching the violet nebula slide past, head tilting in something like wonder. Then it turns and dims the garden lights, one bank at a time, giving the flowers their night.
11-14s: The dome goes dark except for starlight on the leaves. The camera pulls back through the nebula: the ship a tiny lit seed in the violet vastness, carrying its sleeping cargo and its patient garden onward. Hold on the drift. End.
Craft: the seed ship is the design star — ring habitats, the glowing garden dome, frosted pod bays; the gardener robot, small and devoted, as the emotional anchor. Camera: nebula-drift establishing shot, slow pod-bay tracking, warm garden-dome coverage, the robot's viewport moment, a final pull-back to the void. Lighting: nebula violets as key, warm grow-lights in the dome, cold pod-bay dark. Atmosphere: lonely, hopeful, patient — life persisting on autopilot. Style: painterly space opera anime, detailed ship design, quiet wonder, 24fps, 14 seconds, 16:9.
