The Worm Subway — Tunneling the Garden

A 10-second earthy miniature epic, 16:9: tiny engineers riding earthworms, tunneling a subway beneath a garden. The hook: subway construction at the scale of soil — with stations named Carrot Central and Potato Place.
0-3s: The camera pushes through dark loam at worm scale — soil grains like boulders, root hairs like cables. The lead worm, ridden by a tiny engineer in a hard hat, chews through the earth, its segments rippling; behind it, crews shore the fresh tunnel with root-beams, hammering with matchstick tools. The boring machine is alive: the worm's head, its headlamp glowing.
3-6s: The tunnel opens into stations: Carrot Central, a cavern braced around a hanging carrot; Potato Place, platforms carved beside a buried potato. Tiny passengers crowd the platforms, waving little flags. The first train arrives — a glossy beetle with carriages, chugging on root rails, its headlamp sweeping the cheering crowd.
6-10s: The beetle train runs the line, passengers leaning from the windows, applauding as it rounds a bend past glowing root junctions. The camera rides the last carriage, tunnel lamps strobing past, then pulls back through the soil to the surface — a garden bed, a watering can, the whole epic hidden beneath a few inches of earth. End.
Craft: the subjects are the tiny engineers (hard hats, tool belts, lamp helmets), the earthworms (segmented, glistening, saddled), the beetle train; the soil is a full world — loam, roots, pebbles, seeds, fungal threads. Camera: a soil-level push, a tunnel-boring tracking shot, station reveals, a train-riding finale, one pull-back to the garden surface. Lighting: warm lamp glow in the soil-dark, headlamp beams, soft luminescence off damp roots. Atmosphere: gritty, triumphant — civil engineering at invertebrate scale. Style: miniature hyper-detail, earthy palette, 24fps, 10 seconds, 16:9.
