Siwa Palms — Egypt's Oracle Oasis at Noon

A 10-second hallucinatory desert travel film, 16:9. Blazing noon in Siwa Oasis — ten thousand date palms, Cleopatra's Spring, and the Oracle temple shimmering in the heat. 0-3s: the forward glide moves through the forest of ten thousand date palms — fronds clattering in the hot wind, dappled light strobing the sandy path, the air visibly trembling. A farmer's donkey cart rattles past, loaded high with dates, the driver nodding. 3-7s: the path emerges at Cleopatra's Spring — a stone-rimmed pool of impossibly clear water. A local boy cannonballs in, shattering the perfect reflection in a burst of spray, surfacing laughing. Dragonflies stitch the air above the ripples. 7-10s: beyond the palms, the reveal — the ruins of the Oracle of Amun temple shimmering in heat haze on its rock, where Alexander once came seeking prophecy. The camera holds on the trembling ruins, the palms framing them, the white-hot sky pressing down. Craft: the ten thousand date palms; Cleopatra's Spring with its stone rim; the cannonballing boy; the donkey cart of dates; the Oracle temple ruins on their rock. Camera: forward glide through the palms to the spring, ending on the temple reveal; heat-shimmer lens feel. Lighting: white-hot noon light, deep palm shade, the air visibly trembling, high-contrast heat. Mood: ancient, hallucinatory, lush-in-the-void. Style: desert travel film, high-contrast heat grade, 10 seconds, 16:9.
