Havana's Malecón — Salt, Sun, and Classic Cars

An 8-second nostalgic city documentary, 16:9. Sunset on Havana's Malecón — a turquoise 1957 Chevy glides along the seawall as waves crash over the rocks and the city glows salt-worn and defiant. 0-3s: the tracking shot moves alongside the cruising classics — the turquoise '57 Chevy gliding the seawall road, chrome flashing, waves crashing over the rocks and exploding into spray. Fishermen cast lines from the wall; couples sit watching the light die over the Gulf. 3-6s: the camera drifts into the city's texture — music spilling from a doorway, a domino game on the sidewalk, pastel facades salt-worn and glowing. Another classic, pink and tail-finned, passes in the opposite lane, the drivers exchanging waves. 6-8s: the slow seawall panorama — the sun touching the water, the whole Malecón gilded, spray hanging in the light. The Chevy glides on toward the horizon, tailfins catching the last fire of the day. Craft: the turquoise 1957 Chevy and the pink tail-finned classic; the seawall, crashing waves, fishermen, couples; doorways of music, domino players, salt-worn pastel facades.
