Solar Sail Regatta

A 12-second space opera anime short, 16:9: racing yachts with solar sails the size of cities, competing around a blazing blue giant star. The hook: a jade yacht slingshotting around a solar prominence to take the lead.
0-3s: A star-establishing awe shot: a blazing blue giant, its corona roaring, a regatta course marked by buoys of hard light. The racing yachts enter — solar sails the size of cities, gold, crimson, jade — catching the star's photon winds, hulls gleaming, plasma wakes trailing.
3-7s: The race: the yachts tack through the photon winds, crews in reflective suits hauling light-lines hand over hand, hulls skimming the corona's edge. The crimson yacht leads, its sail trimmed hard; the gold yacht challenges on the inside line, wakes crossing. Tacking action in close: lines straining, sails billowing with captured starlight.
7-10s: The jade yacht dives for the corona's edge — skimming the roaring plasma, its sail flaring white-hot — and slingshots around a prominence, gravity and light hurling it past both rivals into the lead. The corona's fire fills the frame behind it.
10-12s: The jade yacht crosses the final buoy, sail blazing, the others trailing. The crews raise their arms. The blue giant roars on, indifferent. Exhilarating, grand, sporting. End.
Craft: the yachts are the design stars — city-sized solar sails in gold, crimson, jade, reflective-suited crews, light-lines; the blue giant's corona as the arena; hard-light buoys as the course. Camera: star-establishing awe shot, yacht close-ups, tacking action, corona-skimming tension, the slingshot finale. Lighting: blue-white stellar blaze, sail colors igniting. Atmosphere: exhilarating, grand, sporting. Style: spectacular space opera anime, sail physics, stellar scale, 24fps, 12 seconds, 16:9.
