Kuang Si Tiers — Swimming the Turquoise Steps

A 10-second tropical adventure film, 9:16 vertical: midday at Kuang Si Falls, Laos — a staircase of milky-turquoise pools in closing jungle. The hook: swimming the turquoise steps beneath a 60-meter cascade.
0-3s: The camera drifts down the travertine tiers — a staircase of milky-turquoise pools, each spilling into the next over limestone lips, the water so mineral-rich it glows opaque. Jungle closes in on all sides: giant ferns, strangler figs, butterflies moving in clouds through the dappled light.
3-7s: The drift reaches the main pool: a swimmer floats on their back, arms spread, dwarfed by the 60-meter main cascade thundering behind them in white ribbons. The camera circles the swimmer slowly — turquoise water, the falls' roar, butterflies landing on the surface. A rope swing hangs from a high branch; someone lets go mid-frame and drops into the turquoise with a shout and a burst of spray.
7-10s: The drift settles: the swimmer, the falls, the jungle — the full paradise in one vertical frame. The swimmer turns toward the camera, laughing, water beading. Warm water, total jungle, playful-paradise. End.
Craft: the subjects are the swimmer, the travertine tiers (milky-turquoise, glowing opaque), the 60-meter main cascade, the rope swing; the jungle — ferns, figs, butterflies — as the enclosing world. Camera: a descending drift down the tiers, a circling move around the swimmer, a final settled wide. Lighting: midday sun dappled through jungle canopy, the turquoise glowing, spray sparkling. Atmosphere: playful-paradise, lush, free. Style: tropical adventure film, vivid turquoise grade, 24fps, 10 seconds, 9:16 vertical.
