Skinwalker Static — Desert Night Encounter

16:9 video, 8 seconds. A trucker's dashcam, 2 AM, on a desert highway outside Flagstaff — highway folklore made flesh.

0-2s: Headlights bore a tunnel through the desert black, sagebrush whipping past the cab, the CB crackling with distant static. The timestamp burns in the corner: 02:14. A coyote trots along the shoulder, keeping pace with the truck — ordinary, unremarkable, just another desert animal.
2-5s: The coyote stops. In one fluid motion it rises onto its hind legs and keeps walking beside the truck at fifty miles an hour, its forelegs hanging like arms, its stride impossibly smooth. Its head turns toward the windshield. On the audio, the trucker's breathing spikes — a sharp intake, then ragged. The thing's jaw unhinges, wider than any coyote skull allows, and it holds the truck's speed effortlessly, stride for stride.
5-8s: For a full ten seconds it paces the cab, jaw hanging, eyes fixed on the driver. Then it drops to all fours and veers into the dark — and the headlights catch a dozen more pairs of eyes rising from the sagebrush on both sides of the road, all turning to follow the truck.

Detail: the dash's glow on the windshield, the CB mic swinging, mile markers flashing past, the sagebrush silver in the headlights. Camera: locked dashcam framing, timestamp always visible, the frame shaking with the road. Lighting: headlight tunnel in desert black, the thing lit only when it enters the beam. Atmosphere: highway folklore made flesh — the night has rules and something is breaking them. Style: raw dashcam, timestamp, authentic trucker audio, found-footage dread.
