Capsule Hotel Ghost Story

16:9 video, 12 seconds. A spooky cyberpunk anime short: a humming capsule hotel at 3 AM, a warm pod that shouldn't be, and a ghost learning to smile.

0-3s: A capsule hotel at 3 AM hums in the dark — rows of glowing pods in pastel light, a vending machine buzzing and flickering, rain streaking the windows. A night-shift cleaner pushes her mop down the aisle, past sleeping guests' curtained pods, and stops: pod 404 glows warm, though the register says it was never rented.
3-7s: She slides the pod open. Inside, a translucent girl in an old school uniform replays her last night on a loop — laughing with friends only she can see, then crying alone, then gone, the pod empty and cold. The replay restarts: laughing, crying, gone. The cleaner's reflection wavers in the pod's plastic as she watches, mop forgotten.
7-12s: Night after night, the cleaner leaves a warm can of coffee by pod 404 before her shift ends — the can steaming in the 3 AM blue, condensation beading. And the ghost's replay slowly changes: the crying shortens, the laughing lengthens — until one night the girl turns, looks straight at the cleaner, and smiles. The pod glows a little warmer. The cleaner smiles back.

Subjects: the cleaner in her gray uniform with a tired kind face; the translucent girl in her dated school uniform. Camera: eerie pod-row tracking shots, the ghost-replay in faded colors, close-ups on the coffee-can ritual, the final smile reveal. Lighting: pod-glow pastels, 3 AM blue, vending-machine flicker. Atmosphere: spooky, gentle, bittersweet — a haunting that heals. Style: atmospheric neon-noir anime, ghost translucency effects, quiet horror, tender pacing.
