Ice Kraken at the Oil Rig

Cinematic kaiju anime short, 12 seconds, 16:9. A lonely Arctic oil rig at polar night, aurora rippling overhead, workers in heavy parkas moving between floodlit decks. 0-4 seconds: the polar-night establishing shot — the rig's lights burning in the black, snow streaming sideways; below, the sea begins freezing in unnatural patterns — geometric frost spreading across black water in seconds, the ice groaning, workers stopping to stare as their breath fogs. 4-8 seconds: the kraken rises — a being of living glacier-ice, tentacles of blue-white frost as thick as the rig's legs wrapping the structure, encasing it in crystalline beauty; alarms wail, floodlights catch the ice refracting into prisms, the whole rig glittering like a chandelier; the kraken's vast faceless head crests beside the helipad, stilling, listening. 8-12 seconds: the mercy — a worker's dropped glove lies on the deck, and one delicate ice-tendril lifts it and sets it gently back down before the kraken sinks, the frost patterns retreating, the sea calming; the final shot holds the rig steaming in the cold, the aurora steady above, the workers silent. Craft: kraken of fractured glacier-ice with internal blue glow, oil rig with helipad, cranes, and floodlit decks; polar-night sea. Camera: polar-night establishing, freeze-pattern dread, kraken rise, glove-return macro, sinking finale. Lighting: aurora greens, ice-blue internal glow, rig floodlights. Atmosphere: terrible beauty, mercy, cold awe. Style: cinematic cel-shaded anime, ice detail, Arctic atmosphere, 24fps.
