High Noon Reckoning — Dust Street Duel

Classic western short, 10 seconds, 16:9. High noon on a deserted frontier street: boardwalks bleached white, a tumbleweed bouncing past empty storefronts, dust devils swirling between two gunslingers standing twenty paces apart — a weathered marshal in a grey duster, a young outlaw in black with a red scarf — hands hovering over holstered Colts, eyes locked. 0-3 seconds: a slow dolly-in from a low street-level angle — dust streaming past the lens, the marshal's spurs glinting, the outlaw's scarf snapping; the street utterly empty, a saloon door creaking, the noon sun hammering straight down with no shadows to hide in. 3-6 seconds: the extreme close-up — the outlaw's fingers twitching above the holster, the marshal's eyes narrowing, a bead of sweat cutting through dust on the outlaw's cheek; the tension stretches until a shutter bangs somewhere and both men explode into motion. 6-10 seconds: the draw in slow motion — hammers cocking, muzzles blooming smoke and thunder, the camera whipping between them as gunsmoke glows white in the brutal sun; the outlaw's hat spins off, he staggers, and the marshal stands alone in the settling dust as the tumbleweed bounces past again. Craft: period Colts with worn grips, grey duster and black outfit with red scarf, frontier street with boardwalks, hitching posts, false-front stores. Camera: low dolly-in, extreme finger close-up, slow-motion draw, whip-pans. Lighting: brutal white noon sun, hard shadowless light, glowing gunsmoke. Atmosphere: mythic, breath-held, fatal. Style: Leone-inspired grandeur, 35mm anamorphic, bleached palette, heavy grain, 24fps.
