The Heatwave — Surviving the Sun

A 10-second scorching miniature survival film, 16:9: a heatwave baking the patio — and tiny desert-dwellers surviving it. The hook: a lizard, enormous, providing moving shade they follow like nomads.
0-3s: The heatwave: the patio shimmering, the camera shimmering with it — mirages rising, leaves wilting, the tiles too hot to touch. The tiny desert-dwellers retreat to shade-caves under the pots, fanning themselves with petal fans. The water brigade runs dewdrop relays, each drop precious.
3-6s: The lizard arrives — enormous, prehistoric, slow — and the dwellers fall in behind its moving shade like nomads behind a god, the whole village migrating step by step. The brave ice-cream vendor works the line with a thimble cart, selling shade-pops that melt as they're handed over, the customers licking fast. Survival, with commerce, in the shadow of a reptile.
6-10s: Evening brings relief: the sun dropping, the tiles cooling, the dwellers emerging to the amber dusk — cheering the sunset, the lizard settling for the night. Gritty and relieved — survival at tiny scale. End.
Craft: the subjects are the tiny desert-dwellers (water brigade, ice-cream vendor, nomads) and the enormous lizard as the moving shade; the patio — tiles, pots, mirages — as the desert. Camera: a heat-shimmer handheld feel, a shade-following move, a dusk emergence wide. Lighting: harsh noon to amber dusk, heat hyper-detail. Atmosphere: gritty and relieved — survival at tiny scale. Style: miniature survival cinematography, 24fps, 10 seconds, 16:9.
