Brocade Fire — Macro of Gold Thread Embroidery

16:9 video, 6 seconds. Gold-thread brocade fills the frame in extreme macro as a moving light source makes the metallic embroidery ignite and dim in waves.

0-2s: The brocade fills the frame, floral motifs couched in gold thread on dark silk. A single hard light source begins to sweep across the surface, and the metallic embroidery ignites — the gold flaring like embers as the light passes, each petal and leaf catching fire in sequence, then dimming to smolder behind it.
2-4s: The light's wave travels the length of the frame, the floral pattern pulsing in its wake — bloom, flare, fade. The silk ground stays dark and matte, making the gold burn brighter by contrast, the couching stitches visible as tiny anchors holding each flare in place. A single loose gold filament lifts at the frame's edge, trembling in the light's wake before settling.
4-6s: As the light completes its pass, a needle's last stitch pulls tight in the foreground — the gold thread sinking into the silk ground with a final tug, the embroiderer's knot settling. The light dims, and the finished motif glows once more before settling to a rich, quiet gleam.

Detail: the couched gold thread's twisted strands, the dark silk's subtle weave, the needle's steel glint, the knot's tiny perfection. Camera: macro shot holding as the light sweeps, then a push to the final stitch. Lighting: a single moving hard source, the gold flaring and dimming in waves. Atmosphere: opulent, fiery, precise — wealth rendered in thread. Style: brocade macro film, metallic flare, dark ground, jewel-like craft.
