The Leech King — Monsoon Drain Dread

An 8-second urban deluge nightmare, 16:9, shot as phone footage. A monsoon-flooded Mumbai street at night — and something the size of a manhole cover pulses up through a storm drain grate. 0-3s: the phone films a flooded street at night — rain hammering down, the road a river, headlights smearing. The filmer pushes toward a storm drain grate where floodwater fountains upward — and something comes up with the water. A leech, grown monstrous: the size of a manhole cover, pulsing, its segments rippling as it hauls itself onto the flooded asphalt. 3-6s: its mouth opens — a radial maw ringed with teeth — and smaller leeches pour from the drain behind it, a black tide spreading across the road, flowing around a parked scooter. The scooter's headlight catches the big one's skin: translucent, things moving inside it. It rears toward the camera, the mouth blooming open. 6-8s: the filmer stumbles back — the frame tilts wildly to the rain-black sky, the leech's maw filling the last stable frame. The phone hits the wet asphalt; the final image is sideways: the black tide advancing, the big one pulsing closer. Craft: the monstrous manhole-cover leech with its radial toothed maw; the tide of smaller leeches; the flooded street, the storm drain grate, the parked scooter with its headlight; the fleeing filmer. Camera: shaky phone footage in heavy rain, the tilt to the sky, the dropped-phone final frame; authentic chaos. Lighting: streetlight amber on rain-slick black, headlight glare on translucent skin. Mood: urban deluge nightmare. Style: phone footage in heavy rain, authentic chaos audio, 8 seconds, 16:9.
