The Grandfather Clock Ticks Again — Midnight Strike

An 8-second 16:9 slow horror push: a grandfather clock stopped for forty years starts ticking at midnight — with no works inside. The scene opens on the dusty study, the camera pushing slowly toward the towering clock, its face stopped at 3:15, the brass plaque reading forty years, moonlight falling through the study windows. 0-3s: A distant church bell strokes midnight; the clock shudders, dust sifting from its crown, the second hand jerking once, twice — then the ticking starts, loud, arrhythmic, wrong, each tick slightly off-beat. 3-6s: The camera circles to the clock's glass front — and the case is empty: no pendulum, no weights, just dust and cobwebs; yet the ticking continues, and the faint blurred ghost of a pendulum swings through the empty case, stirring the cobwebs with each pass. 6-8s: The clock begins to strike thirteen, each boom shaking dust from the shelves, the ghost pendulum swinging wider, the camera holding on the empty case as the thirteenth strike fades. The thirteenth strike's vibration shivers a framed portrait off-kilter on the study wall. The ghost pendulum's arc widens with each swing, its blurred edge nearly brushing the glass, stirring the dust into slow spirals. Subject and craft: grandfather clock, stopped face at 3:15, brass plaque, empty case, ghost pendulum, cobwebs, dusty study. Camera: slow cinematic push, circling to the glass front. Lighting: moonlight through study windows, the clock face glowing faintly. Mood: time-out-of-joint dread. Style: slow horror cinematography, period detail, deep shadow, photorealistic.
