The Black Beach — Where Lava Meets the Sea

A 13-second cinematic drone film, 16:9. Molten lava pours off a basalt cliff into the ocean, steam exploding hundreds of feet skyward as a new black beach is born before the camera. 0-4s: the drone holds offshore over deep blue water, the black cliff face filling the frame. A glowing orange river of pahoehoe lava crests the cliff edge and pours downward in a molten curtain; where it strikes the sea, a violent burst of steam erupts and the water boils white around the impact point. 4-9s: the steam plume towers and billows, lit from within by the lava's glow, shredding sideways in the wind. Below it the lava delta grows at the waterline — fresh black rock advancing into the surf in steaming lobes. Waves slam the new land and explode into hissing spray; chunks of cooled lava tumble in the surf, already grinding into black sand. 9-13s: the drone pulls back and climbs, revealing the full arc of the newborn beach curving along the coast, the plume leaning over it, steam white against black rock and blue sea. Craft: a live pahoehoe lava flow over a basalt sea cliff; open ocean; a towering steam plume; the growing lava delta and fresh black-sand shoreline. No people, no structures — pure elemental event. Camera: offshore drone wide shot with slow lateral push-in, then an ascending pull-back reveal; wide-angle aerial lens feel with vast scale. Lighting: hard daylight, extreme contrast — white steam glowing against black rock, orange lava veins against blue sea, haze around the plume. Mood: violent, creative, elemental — watching land being made. Style: dramatic nature documentary cinema, 4K, steam and contrast detail, 24fps, 13 seconds, 16:9.
