Penguin Highway — Colony Trails in the Snow

A 12-second comic-busy nature film, 16:9, 24fps. An Antarctic colony's penguin highways stripe the snow — thousands of commuting penguins, the drone following their waddling lines. 0-4s: the colony opens — the penguin highways: packed snow trails striping the white in every direction, thousands of penguins commuting along them. The drone drops to follow one highway; the waddlers move in both lanes, flippers out for balance, the colony's roar rising. 4-8s: the low follow — the penguins tobogganing on their bellies shoot past the waddlers, sleek and fast, spraying snow. A commuter stops, looks around, and hurries on; two penguins bicker over the right of way, beaks clacking. The highway's packed snow gleams. 8-12s: the highway's end — the trail reaches the colony's edge, where the sea glints beyond the ice. The penguins pour toward it in an endless waddling stream; the drone pulls up to the full view: the white striped with highways, the black-and-white commuters flowing like traffic. Craft: the thousands of commuting penguins; the packed-snow highways; the tobogganers; the Antarctic colony and the glinting sea. Camera: low follow shot along the penguin highway, then a rising wide of the colony; playful, smooth movement. Lighting: bright snow light, the black-and-white commuters crisp against the white. Mood: comic, busy, charming. Style: bright 4K nature cinema, snow whites and penguin contrast, 24fps, 12 seconds, 16:9.
