Floating Kelp — Sky-Whale Migration Pass

A 12-second 16:9 sequence at 24fps: Sky-whale migration: in the upper atmosphere of a gas giant, forests of buoyant kelp drift — and through them migrates a pod of sky-whales, each the size of a airship, filter-feeding on aerial plankton. Emissive structures glow from within — habitats, hives, or vessels — their lights flickering like neurons. Vast silhouettes pass overhead — a migration of impossible scale, silent at this distance.

0–12s: The drone paces the lead whale, its translucent fins rippling, the banded planet curving below through breaks in the kelp. Spore clouds drift in bioluminescent squalls, each gust a wave of cold blue-green light. The anomaly bends light itself near its core, the background warping like haze made solid. Droplets hang suspended, refusing to fall, each one a perfect sphere catching the alien sun.

Wardrobe, where figures appear, is functional survey gear: matte, sealed, unbranded. The FPV line commits fully — gaps threaded at speed, the horizon tilting with each bank, proximity the whole language. The camera drifts with zero-gravity patience, moves unhurried by weight, selling the alien physics. Eclipse or ring-shadow beats run on dimmed, color-shifted light, the world under a cosmic dimmer switch. There is a scientific awe to the framing, as if the camera were the first instrument to witness this. Smaller sky-fish school around the giants. Majestic, dreamlike, immense. Rendered aerial, alien-palette grade, zero-g camera drift, physics-as-spectacle, 24fps motion, 16:9 framing.
