Wallpaper Peels Back — Hidden Corridor Reveal

Slow architectural horror short, 8 seconds, 16:9. A quiet bedroom in late afternoon light: the camera holds on a wall where a long strip of floral wallpaper has begun to peel, except no hand touches it. 0-3 seconds: the strip curls downward on its own, slowly, revealing not plaster but a dark corridor, wooden floorboards running away into blackness, walls closer together than the room allows; a faint cold draft stirs the curtain. 3-6 seconds: the peel widens with a soft tearing sound, the strip hanging like a tongue, the corridor's blackness deepening beyond it; from deep inside, a floorboard creaks under some weight, and a small light appears far down the passage, a candle flame drifting closer though no hand carries it. 6-8 seconds: the camera pushes toward the opening as the wallpaper strip tears free entirely and flutters down; the candle flame is closer now, larger, and something's shadow moves within its glow, though the flame itself never wavers, burning impossibly steady in the utterly dead air. Craft: the bedroom has faded floral wallpaper, a thin curtain breathing in the cold draft, and dull late-afternoon daylight; the corridor has wooden floorboards and impossible geometry; the candle flame floats unheld. Camera: a slow deliberate push toward the opening; crisp and patient. Lighting: dull daylight against the corridor's unnatural black, the candle's warm point. Atmosphere: architectural impossibility, dread of hidden spaces. Style: crisp realism, muted palette, 24fps.
