The Coral Nursery — Baby Reef Sharks at Dawn

Underwater documentary short, 8 seconds, 16:9. Dawn light ripples across a shallow coral nursery where baby blacktip reef sharks patrol between staghorn corals, the ocean's kindergarten. 0-3 seconds: a slow circling shot at reef level moves through the nursery, baby sharks gliding between the staghorn corals with flicking tails, a flashing school of damselfish scattering silver; anemones pulse in the current and a spotted eagle ray glides across the background, its wingtips rippling. 3-6 seconds: a curious pup circles the camera, coming close enough to see its black-tipped fins, the white trailing edges, and its dark inquisitive eyes, then darts after the damselfish in a sudden burst of speed; the camera pushes gently toward it as it turns back. 6-8 seconds: the pup rejoins the patrol line between the corals, its shadow racing it across the rippled sand, the whole nursery settling back into its rhythm as dawn rays dance across the reef and a sea turtle paddles past in the blue distance. Craft: the baby blacktip reef sharks are small with distinctive black fin tips, sleek grey bodies, and curious dark eyes; the nursery has staghorn corals, anemones, damselfish schools, and rippled sand; the water is shallow and turquoise. Camera: a slow circling shot at reef level with a gentle push toward the curious pup. Lighting: warm dawn rays filtering through turquoise water, dappled light on the reef. Atmosphere: hopeful and delicate. Style: vivid reef documentary, crystal-clear water detail, 24fps.
