Sandstorm Serpent's Warning

Epic kaiju anime short, 13 seconds, 16:9. A desert town at noon — adobe houses, a water tower, laundry lines snapping in a rising wind; the horizon darkens with a wall of dust. 0-4 seconds: the town-calm establishing shot — laundry whipping, the water tower creaking, a dog barking at the darkening horizon; then the ground trembles and a colossal sand-serpent kaiju rises from the dunes, sand sheeting off its ridged coils, its head the size of the water tower. 4-8 seconds: the coiling protection — the serpent wraps its body around the town in a living wall, coils stacking three high; the mega-sandstorm breaks against its scales like surf, the sky going black-brown outside while inside the coil the town sits in eerie calm, children pressing against the serpent's translucent belly-scales to watch the storm rage beyond. 8-13 seconds: the departure — at dusk the storm spent, the serpent uncoils, its great head dipping toward the town in what is unmistakably a bow; it sinks back into the dunes as the townspeople emerge, waving, the dusk gold settling over the saved town. Craft: sand-serpent with ridged coils and translucent belly-scales, adobe town with water tower; mega-sandstorm wall. Camera: town-calm establishing, serpent rise, coiling protection, storm-impact, calm-inside shots, dusk departure. Lighting: noon glare to storm-dark to dusk gold. Atmosphere: protective, dramatic, grateful. Style: epic cel-shaded anime, sand effects, serpent scale detail, 24fps.
